Baker's Tide booking acknowledgments

The primary renter must be at least 25 years old. Maximum occupancy is 6 guests. Baker's Tide is a non-smoking property.

Dogs require advance approval. Maximum 2 dogs. Pet fee is $150 per dog. Baker's Tide and Gulf Highlands Resort pet rules apply.

Use of the complimentary golf cart is optional. Guests who choose to use it must separately accept the Baker's Tide Golf Cart Use Agreement & Safety Acknowledgment below before payment.

Parking & vehicle access: Baker's Tide provides on-site parking for ONE vehicle only. Additional vehicles must use paid off-site parking nearby. Boats, trailers, RVs, campers, and other recreational or oversized vehicles cannot be parked at Baker's Tide or inside Gulf Highlands. Guests entering Gulf Highlands by vehicle must use the Hutchison Boulevard entrance; other vehicle entrances are owner-only.

The refundable security deposit is $250. The remaining rental balance is due 14 days before check-in. Reservations within 14 days require the full stay balance at booking.

Cancellation terms: 30+ days before check-in — full refund; 15–29 days — 50% refund; 14 days or less — non-refundable.

Golf cart

Will anyone in your party use the complimentary Baker's Tide golf cart?

Golf cart use is optional and is not required to book your stay.

Baker's Tide Golf Cart Use Agreement & Safety Acknowledgment

1. Optional use. The golf cart is provided as a complimentary amenity. Permission to use it may be revoked for unsafe use or violation of these rules.

2. Resort use only. The golf cart may be operated only inside Gulf Highlands Resort. It may not be taken outside the resort or onto public roads or streets.

3. Licensed drivers only. Only a person who holds a valid driver's license may operate the golf cart. The responsible renter must ensure that no unlicensed or unauthorized person drives it.

4. Proper seating required. Every rider must be properly seated in a designated passenger seat while the cart is moving. No lap riding is allowed. Riders may not stand, hang from the cart, ride on the sides, rear, step, or any area not designed as a passenger seat. The number of riders may not exceed the number of designated seats.

5. Safe operation. Drivers must operate carefully, yield to pedestrians, obey posted signs and resort rules, and avoid racing, reckless driving, towing, overloading, or other unsafe use.

6. No impaired driving. The golf cart may not be operated by anyone impaired by alcohol, cannabis, medication, or any other substance that affects safe operation.

7. Key, parking, and condition. The renter is responsible for keeping the key secure, parking the cart appropriately, and promptly reporting any accident, damage, malfunction, or loss. Guests may not modify or tamper with the cart.

8. Damage and loss. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the responsible renter accepts financial responsibility for damage, loss, towing, recovery, or repair resulting from misuse, negligence, rule violations, or operation by an unauthorized driver.

9. Risk acknowledgment. Golf cart use involves risks of collision, falls, injury, and property damage. By choosing to use the cart, the responsible renter acknowledges those risks and agrees to follow all safety requirements and applicable resort rules.

10. Loss of permission. Violation of these safety rules immediately terminates permission for the guest party to use the golf cart for the remainder of the stay.

I understand that only a licensed driver may operate the golf cart. I understand that all riders must be properly seated in designated seats and lap riding is not allowed. I understand the golf cart is for Gulf Highlands Resort use only and may not leave the resort. I accept responsibility for damage or loss caused by misuse, negligence, rule violations, or unauthorized operation, to the extent permitted by law.
